Hi,Please be aware that the '80 - '87 Toyota 4WD power steering box CANNOT be
used with the 1953-1955 Ford F100 stock pitman arm...I Almost had a dissaster with this configuration..!!
read below, I've contacted Classic truck shop for this as they have the same
article on their web site.They answered me as you can read below that there were more hobbyist that
encountered the same problems.
Hope this can be of further help to everyone that thinks of converting to a
Toyota 4WD box.I'm not saying it is not a good option ...because it is, providing you use
the Pitman arm that BOB's F100 or MID FYFTY's
(email lchayes@aol.com) can deliver.
(they are specially made for the Toyota to Ford conversion!)
